About Brooklyn DAY
What is a typical Brooklyn day like for our youth? Through guided teachings in theatre, acting, playwriting plus yoga, we’ll find out from the source! Teaching artist Lauren Kelly Benson of Aditi Flow and Creative Wellness (www.laurenkellybenson.com) will guide your student through a process of relaxation and finding safe space for personal expression, discovering what is important to them in their world, and learning how to express themselves through theatre. Each semester they will write, direct, rehearse, and perform in original works written by your students! Open to ages mature 7 to 15, this multi-generational learning environment will be a gateway for your student to discover and harness the power of their own voice!

Praise for Brooklyn DAY
“My six year old daughter has really blossomed in the Brooklyn DAY program. She had expressed interest in the arts in the past. I wanted to find a program that would support her gentle spirit. Lauren has given her so many useful tools and take-aways from the program. There is no doubt my little one will continue to pursue her hearts dream. A great class that moves your children forward through yoga, dance and performance.” -Nia Dara Biven
